Overview

Occasionally the error "First Error: Apex heap size too large" will occur in your LeanDataContinuousBatch Apex Job. 

 

The error will cause the job to fail and potentially create a backlog of records. This error most often occurs when there is a large influx of records, such as an upload of 20,000 Lead records. 

This large amount of records being triggered at once can create too many CCIOs simultaneously, which results in an Apex heap size error due to the amount of data being queried.

 

How to Resolve

Should you see this error occur, please reach out to LeanData Support. A backend setting to limit the number of CCIOs queried can be applied on either a temporary or permanent basis, which should resolve the error.
