InformationTitleLeanData is Not Showing a Recently Created FieldURL NameLeanDataisNotShowingaRecentlyCreatedField6901ce6b8f86eStep-by-StepOverview When working in LeanData, users may occasionally encounter an issue where they cannot find a field that was recently created in their Salesforce instance. This typically occurs because the LeanData interface needs to refresh its metadata to recognize and display newly created fields. These issues most commonly come up in the following scenarios: Not seeing a newly created field when configuring routing nodesUnable to find fields when creating mappings in LeanData Tagging.Fields not appearing in dropdown menus or search results This is a common occurrence which will automatically resolve when LeanData refreshes its metadata (roughly once per hour), but a metadata refresh can be triggered manually to immediately synchronize LeanData's field information with your Salesforce instance. How to perform metadata refresh To manually trigger a metadata refresh, from the LeanData App, navigate to Admin > Settings > General TabIn the Metadata Refresh section, click the Refresh Metadata Button. Alternatively, from within a Routing Graph, when selecting a field in a decision node, if you enter the name of a field that does not exist, you will see a “No Suggestion Found” indicator and a circular Refresh Icon. After clicking the the circular Refresh Icon, after a few moments, the metadata refresh will complete and the field will become visible—as long as you have permission to access it. Note: This metadata refresh can also be performed from the Mapped Account fields interface in LeanData Tagging. For questions or additional assistance please contact LeanData Support.
