Overview

When using BookIt invite, or when you want to access your BookIt Meeting Links, you can use LeanData's Google Chrome extension to create a new BookIt Invite or access your BookIt Booking Links from anywhere. This allows you to book meetings even more quickly and conveniently as you work.

 

Setting up the BookIt Chrome Extension

If you would to create a BookIt Invite or access your Booking Links directly from the Chrome browser, you will first have to install the LeanData BookIt Chrome Extension.

From the Google Chrome browser, search for the LeanData BookIt Extension on the Chrome Web Store.

Click on the Add to Chrome button in the upper right.

Then click the Add extension button in the confirmation window.

Once added, click the extensions icon in Google Chrome and ensure you pin the LeanData BookIt extension to your toolbar.

 

Using the BookIt Chrome Extension

Once the BookIt Chrome extension has been installed and added to your toolbar, click the extension icon in your browser. If you are not logged into Salesforce, you will be prompted to log in.

Once logged in, you should remain logged in for the duration of your session. 

 

Creating a BookIt Invite from the Chrome Extension

Whenever you need to generate a BookIt invite, click on the LeanData BookIt extension icon in your browser then click the Create Bookit Invite button in the drawer that appears.

You can then create a BookIt Invite directly from wherever you need it. For more instructions on the steps of creating a BookIt Invite, please see Creating a BookIt Invite.

 

Accessing Your Booking Links from the Chrome Extension

In addition to generating a BookIt Invite, you can also access your LeanData BookIt Booking Links from the Chrome Extension. 

Click on the LeanData BookIt Extension icon in your browser and a drawer will open that shows all of your Personal Booking Links, including information such as the meeting duration, host(s) and the link expiration date, if any.

Click on Copy Link to copy the Booking Link to your clipboard, which you can then paste wherever you need.

If you would like to create a new Booking Link or navigate to the BookIt Links interface in LeanData, click the Go to Links Homepage button above your list of Booking Links.

 

Connecting Your Video Conferencing

If you have not yet connected LeanData BookIt with your personal video conferencing account, you can navigate to your user page in LeanData to connect it. LeanData BookIt will then use your account details in any meeting booked using BookIt invite or your Booking Links where you are the Host. 

To access this page from the Chrome extension, click on the LeanData BookIt Extension icon in your browser and a drawer will open. Click on your profile icon at the top (it may be your initials), then click on View my Profile from the menu options that appear.

This will take you to your User details page in LeanData, where you can connect to your Video Conferencing account from the options provided.
