Overview

BookIt for Forms requires a snippet of code to be placed on your webpage to take data from form submissions, send it to Salesforce for LeanData routing, and display an appropriate representative's calendar. Constructing and utilizing these snippets will differ depending on your form provider, the type of calendar display you want, your entry node names, and your specific instance of LeanData. To simplify this process, LeanData provides an interactive Webform Setup Tool, which generates the code and instructions necessary to implement BookIt on your webforms.

 

Accessing the Webform Setup Tool

There are two ways to access the BookIt for Webform Setup Tool:

• From the LeanData App, navigate to:
  BookIt > BookIt for Forms > Webform Setup

• From within a BookIt for Forms FlowBuilder graph, open one of your Trigger Nodes and click the Webform Setup guide link near the top of the node panel.

• • Using the link from a BookIt FlowBuilder Trigger Node will automatically select that node as the trigger node in the Webform Setup Tool.

Configuring the Snippet

Specify Your Details

Once on the Webform Setup page, select options from the dropdown menus at the top:

• Form Provider: Select your form provider from the list of supported providers. If your provider is not listed, LeanData may still support it, but you will not be able to use the Webform Setup Tool. Please reach out to LeanData for assistance.
• Page: Select the type of experience you would like to present to your prospects. Depending on the form provider you selected, you may see:
  • Form Page: Displays the calendar on the same page where your prospects submit the form.
    • To use this option, you must disable any redirects currently in use on your forms. You can configure a separate redirect for successful meeting bookings in your Meeting Type settings.
  • Thank You Page: Displays the calendar on a separate "Thank You" page to which your prospects may be redirected after form submission.
• Trigger Node: Select the specific Trigger Node where you would like form entries to enter your BookIt FlowBuilder graph. You will need to generate separate snippets for each Trigger Node you wish to use.
  • If you accessed the Webform Setup page via a Trigger Node link, the Trigger Node should already be pre-selected.

Once complete, click the Generate Instructions button on the right.

 

Follow the Customized Implementation Instructions

Instructions will appear, outlining how to utilize the appropriate snippet for your selected options. These steps include guidance specific to your designated form provider.

You can copy any code snippets you may need by clicking the Copy Code button and following the instructions on where to place those snippets.

Repeat these steps for each form page where you wish to utilize BookIt for Forms.
