Overview

The Do Not Schedule node is a BookIt Handoff capability for Smart Rep Suggestions graphs that lets you block scheduling when required criteria are not met.

When a record reaches this node, LeanData:

• Does not open the standard Handoff calendar selection modal
• Shows the scheduler an error page that prevents them from proceeding.

This provides an explicit way to enforce sales discipline (for example, requiring qualification details before a meeting can be booked).

Use Cases

Use the Do Not Schedule node when you need to prevent reps from booking meetings until specific requirements are met.

Common examples include:

• Blocking scheduling until required qualification fields are populated (for example, MEDDPICC details).
• Enforcing process compliance so reps cannot bypass data validation by selecting a calendar.

 

Configuring the Do Not Schedule Node

1. Open the Smart Rep Suggestions FlowBuilder Graph where you want to enforce scheduling restrictions.

2. From the Node Menu in the upper right, Select Action > Do Not Schedule, and drag the node onto your graph canvas.

3. Open the node. Give the node a different name if desired

4. In the Message to Display section, enter the message schedulers should see when scheduling is blocked.

• You can insert variables that were defined earlier in the graph.
• Variables can include record fields from the record where the Handoff is initiated.
• Variables can include meeting scheduler variables.
• If you leave this field blank, LeanData will show a default message that directs the scheduler to contact their LeanData administrator.

5. Click Done. There are no exit edges from this node as it is a terminal node.

6. Add or update the routing logic in your graph so that records that do not meet your requirements and should not present the Handoff scheduling modal are directed into the Do Not Schedule node.

 

Considerations and Expected Behavior

• When a record reaches the Do Not Schedule node, the scheduler sees an error page and cannot proceed with the Handoff.
• LeanData blocks scheduling by preventing the standard Handoff calendar selection modal from opening.
• The Do Not Schedule node is terminal. You cannot route from Do Not Schedule to a schedule node.
• End of Flow vs. Do Not Schedule: If you previously used the End of Flow edge option to stop a path, scheduling could still be possible because the user could simply select a non suggested user. .
  • Use Do Not Schedule when you need an explicit, user-visible block that prevents scheduling.
