Overview

With LeanData BookIt’s Microsoft Teams Integration, you can:

  • Automatically add unique Microsoft video conferencing links when a meeting is booked.
  • Reduce any manual labor required for updating scheduling links when a meeting is canceled or rescheduled.

 

How to Connect Your Microsoft Teams Account From LeanData

If you want to connect your Microsoft Teams Account:

  1. Log in to your Salesforce account.
  2. Once you are logged in, search for the LeanData App.
  3. Navigate to People > Users and select your Username.
  4. On the Video Conferencing tab, click Connect on the Microsoft Teams Integration tile.

  1. Sign into your Microsoft Teams Account and BookIt will automatically connect to Microsoft Teams.
    • The following permissions are required of the user:
  • offline_access
  • User.Read.All
  • ChannelMessage.Send
  • ChannelMember.Read.All
  • GroupMember.Read.All
  • Channel.ReadBasic.All
  • ChatMessage.Send
  • Chat.Create

 

Once you have connected your Microsoft Teams account, set Microsoft Teams as your default conferencing tool by clicking the Set as Default button on the Microsoft Teams tile. By doing this, each time a meeting is booked with you, BookIt will automatically generate a unique Microsoft Teams link and add this link to your events and confirmation emails.

Note: Users can authorize Microsoft Teams as their Video Conferencing provider, even if using a different Calendar provider.

 

How to Deauthorize Your Microsoft Teams Account from LeanData

If you want to disconnect your Microsoft Teams Account:

  1. Navigate to People > Users and select your User Name. On the Video Conferencing tab, click Disconnect on the Microsoft Teams Integration tile.

  1. Your account will automatically be disconnected. A different conferencing tool will be auto-selected as a default (if another one is connected).
